Caroline’s Room Locations

The first Caroline's Room was opened at Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, in 1998. Since then, five additional rooms have been developed.  These rooms are at the Covenant Medical Center, Lubbock, Texas; the University Medical Center at Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas; Odessa Regional Hospital, Odessa, Texas; the Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Hartford, Connecticut; and Carilion Clinic Children's Hospital, Roanoke, Virginia.  Three more rooms are in the active development phase.  The seventh and eighth Caroline's Rooms will open in November, 2010, at Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida, and the ninth room will open in January, 2011, at  SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Each Caroline's Room is unique and reflects the needs and wishes of the specific hospital. All of the rooms, however, have been professionally designed with the goal of creating a sense of home and comfort.
