The mission of the Caroline’s Room Fund is to ease the trauma of families with children in neonatal intensive care. Caroline’s Rooms are designed to provide a safe haven within the NICU where parents can meet in privacy with their child’s caregivers, plot strategies, and deal with outcomes. It is where, in the midst of crisis and struggle, families can find comfort, peace, and a sense of home.

We welcome you to the Caroline’s Room web site. Our baby, Caroline, was born prematurely and died after two months in neonatal intensive care. From this experience we learned firsthand of the need for a place in the neonatal intensive care unit where families can go to find peace, privacy, and comfort. That was the inspiration behind the creation of Caroline’s Rooms across the country. Our dream is to create many more.

The number of children born prematurely is on the increase, as is the need for this important resource. We welcome your questions and support, and we thank you for taking the time to learn more about this special cause.
