The mission of the Caroline’s Room Fund is to ease the trauma of families with children in neonatal intensive care. Caroline’s Rooms are designed to provide a safe haven within the NICU where parents can meet in privacy with their child’s caregivers, plot strategies, and deal with outcomes. It is where, in the midst of crisis and struggle, families can find comfort, peace, and a sense of home.

               Caroline’s Room Receives

                    Two Federal Grants

Caroline’s Room has been awarded two federal grants, totaling over $500,000, to expand its program across the country. The grants were approved in budget allocations for the U.S. Health and Human Services Department and with the help of Connecticut Senator Christopher Dodd and Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro.

Since receiving these grants, five new Caroline's Rooms have been developed, with several more in the pipeline.
